& Decor Contest

UPDATE

We're making a small change to how winners will be determined. Instead of community voting, we'll use a random spinning wheel (Wheel of Names) to select the prize winners.

Why the change? We learned that some people had difficulty registering and submitting photos online - and if entering is a challenge, voting online would be too.

This new approach keeps it fair and simple for everyone. Entries are still required to submit a photo of their decorated display to be eligible. To enter, email a Board member (see Contacts) or complete the entry form below.

For the first time, the Warren Agricultural Society is lighting up the holiday season with the Outdoor Holiday Lights & Decor Contest, part of the Warren Hometown Christmas event!

Residents of Markstay-Warren, this is your chance to shine! Decorate your homes with dazzling holiday displays and compete for cash prizes, all made possible by the generosity of our local sponsors.

Prizes for Top Displays

1st Place: $300

2nd Place: $200

3rd Place: $100 + $100 Grocery Gift Card

How to Participate

Register Your Home: Complete the registration form below. Registration closes December 13 at 5 PM.
Submit Your Photo: Once your decorations are ready, email a photo of your display by December 13 at 5 PM. Include the name you registered with and your address so we can link your photo to the interactive map.
Vote and Win: After the entry deadline, an interactive map featuring all contest entries will go live on our website. From December 14 to 18, the community is invited to vote for their favourite displays. Winners will be announced on December 20 at 12 PM (noon).

Voting Period: December 14 at 12 PM to December 18, 2024.

All registered displays will be featured on an interactive map on our website. Use the map to browse entries, plan your holiday light tour, and vote for your favourites!

Starting December 14 at 12 PM, the interactive map will guide you to all participating homes. Here's what you can do:

View Photos: See pictures of each dazzling display.
Plan Your Route: Map out a festive drive to visit your favourite entries in person.
Cast Your Vote: Use the voting form on our website to choose the best displays.

How Voting Works:

Voting is open to everyone!
Choose your 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place favourites using our simple voting form (a link will be provided when voting begins).
Only one vote per email address.
